Chromecast no longer working

I had it working perfectly yesterday. Set it up in minutes and was able to watch Netflix/youtube and stream tabs just fine. However, this morning the device would not connect to my network. I am constantly getting the error:

We can?t connect your Chromecast to your chosen Wi-Fi network. 

Please check your network name and password and ensure your network allows new devices to join.

I'm not sure if my router is 5Ghz or not, because it is an AT&T Uverse branded one. But if it worked last night, it should work now.

Any ideas on what I need to do? I even Factory Reset the thing and have had no success.
 
Do you have to chromecast app? If not, get it from the play store and in the options you can reset and factory reset it, also check for updates I believe.
