Chromecast question - Chrome on PC to TV?

Hello,

I'm trying to weigh buying a Chromecast or not. We are actually trying to figure out if we can kill the dish, so, I am searching for our favorite shows on sources like Netflix, Hulu, Hulu-Plus, Amazon Priime, etc.

I have an Apple TV, Roku, and Amazon Fire TV currently.

I have come across some shows on Hulu Plus on my PC that have this "We currently don't have the rights to make this show available on your TV or mobile devices".

So, I am curious, with a Chromecast, would you be able to watch this on it on the TV from the tab in Chrome on the PC?

I've watched YouTube videos of people putting whatever is on the PC on the TV with the Chromecast, so I'm just curious if this is one of the things you could do.

I also looking for the ability to watch shows on my TV when Hulu redirects you to the site, such as on Cutthroat Kitchen, it directs you to Food Network, and their proprietary player.
