Chromecast set-up requesting Device Utilty App

[Android Central Question]

Brand new Chromecast. Have set them up before through the Home App and have worked fine.

Connecting one to a projector. Went through the normal steps and after detection, it says it needs a few more steps to he complete. I follow the more info option and it tells me to download the Device Utility App.

On the app store, there is no such app. There is a Google App Device Policy which requires a business account.

What do I need to do here to make this work?

Welcome to Android Central! Oddly, that app no longer seems to be available in the Play Store. And when it was available, it didn't seem to work very well: https://9to5google.com/2022/01/13/google-device-utility-app-sonos/

This is a current generation Chromecast, and not a 1st gen, right?
