I really like the ability for multiple devices to add videos to the "TV Queue" on the yotube app; however I can't get this to work with Google Play Music. If one device is playing a song over the chromecast, and I try to connect and tap a different song on a different device, it just tells me the music can't be played. Once I disconnect the fist device, the ssecond device will be allowed to play songs. Am I missing something? Is this possible? It would be weird if it isn't, since this was one of the main advertised features of the Nexus Q. Thanks!

I have a nexus 4 and 7. YouTube works fine in regards to queuing with multiple devices however music does not. Its probably slight overlooking by Google which should be updated soon since YouTube app can be directed by multiple devices.

To get multiple devices to be able to interact with the YouTube queue is it as simple as hitting the cast button on the different devices? Also, is there anyway to change the order of the videos in the Youtube queue? Thank you

:( Hopefully. I mean this was the number 1 advertised feature of the Nexus Q: Allowing you and friends to add/remove songs from a queue in real time. Hopefully it comes sooner rather than later.

yes, you connect to the chromecast with different devices, then the tv queue will appear at the bottom of the screen in the form of a horizontal gray bar. Any device can add/remove videos--exactly how music should work, but apparently doesn't.

Yes, even with one device I was not able to edit my Music Queue after sending songs to the queue. I could see it, but was only able to skip the currently playing song - I could not reorganize or swipe away songs I had in the queue.

I'm sure this will be updated.
