I'm struggling to comprehend what that would mean for tablets. I guess it's the same direction Microsoft is taking with Windows 10. I say it's brilliant and will generate an even playing field of device ecosystems.

My best guess would be to look at the upcoming Pixel C and then add the functionality that full web apps can bring and gaining some more control over window sizes and quantities, etc.
