Class action lawsuit against sprint!

The $10. Is for data. Like verizon $30 for 2gb if data. And att. Except sprint is $10 for unlimited data.

Just get over it. Don't like it go somewhere else.

Look at the coverage map shows you where 4g is.

My issue isn't about the $10/month data plan. My issue is that I was told in January of 2011 that Oklahoma would be getting 4G service in the next few months. So I paid close to $400 each for 2 EVO 4G phones -- knowing I would only get 3G service till the 4G service was available -- I was fine with that.

But now I'm hearing that Sprint will NEVER be putting 4G service across Oklahoma (it is available in a very few isolated areas) and that my 4G phone will only get 3G service even after the 4G-LTE service is available. So, had I known that a year and half ago, I wouldn't have shelled out the $$ for a phone that would would never get the service it was supposed to have.

I wonder if I can get the reps from Sprint to buy a car at 3 times the price if I tell them in 6 months the car will run off water, but for today it just runs off gasoline like other less expensive options on the market today. Then in 2 years I can tell them we've decided to not go with water as a power source because we can't make it work. So the car they have will still run off gasoline (like less expensive options they could have purchased 2 years ago), but to run off of the new power source will take a different type of car and that they'd have to pay again for this new car that will some day run off of this new power source that isn't out on the market yet today.

Think anyone from Sprint would go for that??

I've been with Sprint for 10+ years....primarily because I get a 25% discount on my fees through my employer. For a long time, I did get great service with them. However, I've had an unlimited data plan for as long as Sprint has offered them, yet when I upgraded to my Nexus, I was forced to pay an additional $10 "premium data" fee. Sprint claims this is for the "superior data experience" one gets with their smart phones.

However, my son has an LG Optimus S,(also a smart phone) which does NOT have 4G, and he is able to do EVERYTHING with his phone that I can do.... EXCEPT get 4G. And so he doesn't have to pay the $10 fee. I think any court of law would consider that a fee specifically for 4G service. Doesn't matter how Sprint labels it. A skunk is still a skunk.

I've often thought class action suits were just frivolous abuses of the legal system, but after the past year of seeing 4G service in my area get even worse, I'm all for it.

I had the optimus s, and dint pay the $10 fee, only cause i was grandfathered in. once i upgraded it kicked in.

law suit isnt going to get you anywhere, maybe just get you out of your contract without an EFT.

It is $10 per month for unlimited data. cant belive all the people complaining about it. verizon and att are like $30 a month for 2 gigs of data.

And for the 4g thing that sprint sprint it was clearwire the couldnt live up to that promise. LTE is being done by sprint so it will be up in time. and 100% of sprints network will get LTE.

The problem is the $10 charge is not for unlimited data... I was/am already on an unlimited data plan, which included unlimited data even on smartphones. The $10 charge was applied with the rollout of 4G and only applied to the Evo 4G originally. Since, it has been applied to all smartphones as a premium data charge for enhanced data experience. What exactly qualifies as premium data/enhanced data experience?

Additionally, we pay Sprint and Sprint has the responsibility to uphold it's commitments. They chose to work with Clearwire and as such it's their responsibility to ensure CW meets their expectations. FYI, Sprint's LTE network will also be dependent on Clearwire, get your facts straight.
