Classic Note 9

Would a smaller Note that echoed the Note 5 or Note 7 form factors be of interest?

Note 9 can be for those that like the 18:9 ratio and taller/larger body, while the "smaller" Note could still support the 16:9 ratio and smaller body/screen.

If the hardware differences (camera, internal storage size options, dust/waterproof, S Pen, RAM, biometrics, etc.) were roughly on parity between the Note 9 and a "Classic Note 9", then I'd be interested.

I am actually interested in a Note that is like the iPad mini size that is also 16x9 ratio. I think it makes more sense to write on almost like a small notepad size. I also love it is a phone / tab replacement.

The 18:9 ratio would be fine if they got rid of the top and bottom bezels (hold a Note 5 and Note 8 side by side and the screen of the Note 8 fills perfectly the entire frame of the 5)

What I would be most interested in is a note with a flat screen, none of this curved edges crap that looks really cool but hinders the stylus experience and make the screen feel narrower than it really is.

A Note 9 with flat sides and a 6.3" 18:9 bezeless display (even if this means a notch), fingerprint sensor under the screen, and improved spen and I'll be a happy camper.

smaller/classic note 9 could easily end up being the foldable X if you think about it

I like the old size of the note 3. the note note 8 are nice nut to long they made it just like s9+ without a pen. so so why would you go from a square ish style to a long style with a smaller battery.
the note series would be better off with the old style with improvements
