"Clean Ram" icon on startup and popup ads

Upon powering the screen on Samsung S8 there is an icon "Clean Ram" along with an advertisement. Once you swipe the screen an ad again pops up. The "Clean Ram" icon disappears. I know the two are connected. I have checked apps listing and it doesn't appear. I have checked "device security" and it does not appear nor is there any unknown program gaining access.
How do I locate and destroy this spamware?

Samsung has partnered with Cheetah Mobile (one of the biggest offenders in bogus RAM cleaning) in the past, so I'd start looking for apps developed by then in your app list. Also anything with "CM" in the name. You may need to select the option to view system apps to find it.

Uninstall Any Apps By Cheetah Mobile

Uninstall the Applications SMART SCREEN. That will remove that crude and get you back to the standard lock screen.
