Love the phone. Love. I believe phones should not require a case or sticker.

My biggest issue with my note is that when it is not protected the back is horrible with smudges and fingerprints.

Does anyone have a way to avoid this?

I have a clear matte slick wrap on back of my note8. It's got a smooth feeling and very little smudges or fingerprints. I rarely have to clean the back. Now if I can find one for the dang front that didn't attract fingerprints lol.

I was just going to recommend something like that if you have a wrap / skin that you like that's a good option for you because it still gives you the look and feel of a naked phone

I opted for the very thin, clear otterbox offering that they had at the VZW store. I bought one of the orchid gray Note 8s and I like the color of the back, but it was terrible for fingerprints and smudges. I am a Project Manager at an electrical firm, so I need a case on my phone because I am often in the field, but this one takes care of the fingerprint issue and offers protection also. Most importantly, it allow you to see the back of the phone.

The local mall has a Kiosk and theres a product called "Ghost Armour" I get there case friendly matte screen protectors. but they also do back coverings. Ive never gotten one. But the guy showed me his. and I have to say. it is nice Couldn't really tell it was there. But as I'm a baby and put mine in a case I opted to not get it

We used to have a Ghost Armor kiosk here but they went out of business. I had the front and back of my Note 7 done by them and it turned out very well.

I remember when ghost armour was kinda crappy. But I dunno what happened . Somewhere between the iPhone 4S (last time I had one) and the Galaxy S7 it's became a great product. I throw one on my phone in the first 24h

Yeah its a mixed blessing. Very clean and sexy design, but fingerprints suck. I have a case, so fungerprints arent a problem. But when i take it out of the case to clean i miss not seeing the design. Any Zagg-type wraps that cover the whole phone? Ive never been able to find one. Suppose i could just get one of those custom one done at one of those kiosks.
