Clear ALL on G2x when returning: how?

I might decide to return my G2x due to its strange behavior: rebooting with seemingly no cause, screen locking up, vibrating non stop even after picking up a call, etc.

May I ask for advice on how to best and most thoroughly CLEAR ALL if and when I return the phone? I do not know how and am concerned.

Factory Reset?

Should be under settings --> Privacy. I know on the MT4G it's under settings --> SD Card & Phone Storage

That will wipe the phone so it's like it just came out of the box.

Before you use the privacy route, you should also go into memory, unmount the phone memory, format the phone memory before doing the factory reset, otherwise, the factory reset will not wipe the internal storage.

still vibrating after answering call

My g2x has done this twice now- I pick up the vibrating phone off my desk and answer it. The ringtone stops, but the phone keeps vibrating even while I start talking to the person who called me.

I did a factory reset after the first time it happened.

But then it happened again today.
I dont have any notifier/missed call apps installed.

I have Vibrate=Always
ringtone = mp3 from sd card
haptic feedback=yes

anyone else notice this?

this "vibration won't stop" phenomenon happened to me once. i did not do any factory resets. it has not yet happened again.

other odd things happened, i.e. while swiping from left to right to unlock the phone, the phone froze for a bit.

Same here. Just got replacement a week ago and still same. Screen freezes, answer and still bibs, screen black and phone UN responsive. I can be doing a text message and the screen will stop responding about a second. It has done it twice just in writing this. Call tmo and tgey say reset phone but that is not a fix. I have gotten mad the ladt two times they have told me to do it as i paid full pop for my phone. My wife has the sensation and says she has not had these issues. However hers about once a month will drajin a full battery in a couple of hours and the back of the phone is super hot. As for the G2x they say the CM8 rom fixes all this. And if you do it right and have to return phone you can restore to factory and they wont know you had a custom rom. Not happy with g2x at all.
