clear battery stats?

how do you clear the battery stats on an OV? And why might you want to do such a thing?

I ask bc I installed Harmonia 1.3 on my OV some time ago, but have yet to enjoy the radically better battery life that it mentioned.

Charge your battery to 100%, reset stats, then unplug.

There's also an app in the market called Battery Calibration that lets you wipe battery stats without having to boot into recovery.

One thing alot of people miss is that corrupt battery stats can cause ur phone not to fully charge. So after wiping the battery stats turn the phone off and continue to charge the phone if it charges for a significant amount of time then re-wipe the battery stats again then use it till it dies. This should give u a full/proper battery discharge profile.

so what I'm getting out of this is that:
- wiping battery stats is something that's done in the recovery
- should be done while at 100% charge

i guess that's about it. correct, yes?
