On my Samsung GS3 I held the home button down and then cleared all open or running apps. Can't figure out how to do the same on my DNA. Can anyone help me out?

I don't believe this actually closes the apps completely. I just tested by swiping Pocket Casts while listening to a podcast and although it was no longer in the recent apps list, it didn't stop the podcast from playing.

The only way I know know for sure will close the apps is to stop them from Applications within Settings.

Why do to want to manually close them?

Thought he was talking about clearing apps. Holding the home on the s3 brings up the "recent" apps. But yeah I never close/kill apps. System handles everything
