Click detent on Samsung S3 watch

I was at a Best Buy today and noticed that the demo units for Samsung D3 Classic and Frontier models don't have a click detent on the bezel when you turn it (It just rotates smoothly without stop). I thought that there used to be a detent. Did Samsung recently change the bezel design, or is it a settable feature? I was sure they were S3 models.

It's there. I'm assuming that the demo units at Best Buy have been worn out.
