Click Sound

Hey all! So after using my Fold4 for several days I've noticed a faint click sound when I open it. It only happens withing the first 5 or 10°s of opening it. Is this normal? This is my 1st folding so I wasn't sure. Thanks!!


Update: So I spoke with a Samsung Rep at Best Buy and he heard the click sound. He opened it and said it was fine and that with the new hinge system is probably what's causing the click. He said since it has a warranty for a year if it fails etc then I can just have it fixed or replaced but he said he wouldn't worry about it.

What happens when you close it up? Do you hear the same sound? Are you using any kind of case or screen protector?

No case and just stock screen protector. It only happens when I open it.....it's a very faint click withing 1st few mm's on opening.

Shouldn't be any clicking, none on my Fold³ should be same in Fold⁴

I've found some links online for the 3 that had clicking but nothing yet for the 4. I guess I'll c9ntqvt support and see what they say

I'll call them in the morning. Right at :38s I have the exact same faint click in the same position while opening it.

Sounds normal to me , I was expecting something much louder

If what your hearing is like if you put 2 plastic sheets the size of piece of paper then separate them that type noise is normal

So this is the exact point I hear a very faint click.

It's hard to say haven't heard yours , if you go carrier store or best buy try one or 2 of the units there see if same as yours
