Hey guys- this is my 2nd week with the Note 3 and the last two nights my alarm has not gone off (except the S View will light up) and when I try to access the phone it goes black for a bit until I get a message about the clock app has stopped working. I cleared the cashe and restarted and it did it again.. any ideas? the alarm is very important to me..

I have the same issue but not sure what's causing it...

I had this just happen last Friday... Ended up waking 45 minutes late and made me 15 minutes late for work. I am Hoping it is an isolated incident. Reading this now makes me worry... I sleep over my gfs and my phone is my alarm to get up.

I haven't seen this problem personally, but I also rely on my cell phone as an Alarm clock. I use DoubleTwist's Alarm app, though. It has worked flawlessly for me for over a year now. It only costs a couple of bucks and has never once crashed on me.

There are a ton of alarm clock apps in the store, but I recommend this one only because I have personal experience with it being very stable.

I have the same exact issue. It will seize up my phone until the message about whether I want to kill the alarm clock comes up. TenshiNo that is definitely a respectable solution. I personally like Timely (really nice looking app and free). BUT the point is that we shouldn't have to download a 3rd party app to get a basic function to work like the clock. Esp when you have 3GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 800 CPU in your phone. :(

It is a buggy update I had the same problem but to fix it just clear cache-> clear data-> uninstall updates
