I cannot locate the clock app to change my alarm settings after installing the update.

Anyone else experience this?

I noticed that as well. I didn't know if it was because of the update or because I got a new phone and was transferring everything over when the update started. Now I know its because of the update.

You can do it from the home screen by tapping the clock. from there you can set alarms, desk top mode etc.

Yeah, its been missing since the first releases of GB. Not sure why or how they left it out. Like Malibu said, if you still have the HTC Weather/Clock widget...just tap on the time...takes you to the same place.

If you r not using the sense clock/weather widget, how do you get to set the alarm. I have to be to work@5 am. Today I had woke up just in time to prepare to leave. I need to be able to set alarm as my schedule changes from 4-6 am start up times. Thanks in advance Thunderbolt Fam.

I was just checking the thunderbolt forums for a friend whose neighbors moved so now the internet connection they shared went away and I was curious whether the hotspot app would be as good a Comcast when I saw this...it sounds like you're having the same issues that us incredible 2 owners have been having since the GB update came out. my clock app has been disappearing every few Weeks, as has many others, sometimes the phone app goes away, contacts, and weather too. Only thing that fixes it is a factory reset. It also happens often when you delete an app, they can come back randomly when you install something though.

You have to use a different app like alarm clock extreme, the sense app is totally unreliable now. It's just strange that HTC would release this for another phone while admitting it's a bug on the dinc2.

I think sense hides them because they expect you to use the weather/clock widget. Which allows you clock access.

If its showing up with other launchers then it is still there just hidden.

They took it away on purpose. Use a launcher like circle launcher and the clock app is still accessible. Otherwise, put a sense clock on a home screen you dont use and access the alarm from there.

WOW! Thanks for the responses everyone. Not sure I like any of the solutions but I appreciate the support. I will just start using an actual alarm clock again. Thanks again.

I use Beautiful Widgets for my clock, and I also tap the clock to pull it up. I've actually never pulled it up any other way.

I just checked and personalize, widget, browse all HTC widgets, numbers 10 thru 15 are all clocks. Set one on your home screen and tap it. Options at the bottom of screen are desk clock, world clock, alarms, stopwatch, and timer. Seems it's the same as always or maybe I just don't understand the question.

You can access the Clock app from the Search button.
1. Press Home button. (Bottom left button)
2. Press Search button (Bottom right button)
3. Type 'Clock' in the search bar
4. Choose the Clock application from the list
(The next time you use search, clock will be at top of list, so you won't need to type it again.)

Using Search can also allow you to directly launch the 'Car Panel', 'Phone', 'Call History', & 'Weather' apps and the new 'Dock Mode' app.

The new Dock Mode app launches automatically with the HTC desktop charger with the new Gingerbread release. It has a neat customizable photo slide show that let's you set which photos you want. It also let's you access the Gallery, Music, Calander, and see the latest time and weather info.
