clock keeps changing to 24 hour format

As the title says, my N4 keeps changing to 24 hour clock format, mid use even. I changed it back, and it went back to 24 hour format again.

Anyone ever had this happen? Any way to make it stop? I'm running stock 4.4.3.

My Moto X is doing the same thing. Been happening for about two weeks now. I first thought it get changed in my pocket but I now think it is switching itself.......Weird for sure .
