Clock widget not updating, alarm not firing, geofence not working

Since the last update I got, my phone has become stranger and stranger.

It started by the clock widget (Fancy Widgets) being updated very infrequently, but updating. Now it doesn't seem to update unless I touch it, to go to its settings, then just go back. Then it updates. And I have to touch the weather part first, go out of that, then touch the clock part, to get to settings, then back.

Until yesterday the alarm (Alarm Clock Xtreme) was working fine. The last two days it didn't go off, and when I started the app, it said the app was unable to turn the phone on or something like that.

I excluded fancy widget and alarm clock xtreme from the samsung power monitor thing. I wiped the cache partition. I set both apps to priority notifications.

Also, I have it so that I don't have to use my iris or fingerprint scanner at home, but that doesn't work anymore either - It looks like it doesn't update my location?

This is driving me nuts. Anyone have any idea of what I can do?

Use the default Samsung clock widget and alarm tools?

Fancy widgets in particular was last updated in 2014 (!). It is amazing that it has continued to work for as long as it has.

As to Alarm Clock Xtreme, try contacting the developer. I do see a number of "alarm not firing" complaints among the recent feedback at the Play Store.
