I HAVE SEARCH , I HAVE SEARCH ,

Hey guys, im wanted to put a theme on my fresh installed MikG v1.03 - Re-Engineered GB Sense 2.1 + 3.0 but the mod wont work with Clockmod, they suggest use Amon Ra Recovery

I use rom manager (unrevoked if you need to know)
Now in Rom Manager there is an option to flash alternate recoverythe option id RA v2.3

If it switch to this what happens???? Lose anything , what happens.
It says i can switch back.

Really i just want to put these mods/themes on my evo and then do like i normally do

IMHO Amon RA is a better recovery than ClockworkMod. If you switch over to RA, you wont be able to use your nandroid backups that you did with ClockworkMod nor would you be able to use ROM Manager unless you switch on back to ClockworkMod, but why would you? :p

btw im using MikG too.....i love it!!!

So I can switch, perform the theme install, and but I need to do backup using amon and if I want to use old back ups I need to switch back to clockmod

Here is what I would suggest doing if you want maximum restore-ability.

1. Backup with ClockworkMod
2. Flash Amon_RA Recovery
3. Backup if you like (in case the theme flashing goes bad or you don't like it)
4. Flash the Theme

If you ever want to restore any nandroids you made with ClockworkMod, just re-flash the ClockworkMod Recovery and you are good to go.
