any idea why my clockworkmod file is 5.18gb? i got this by going to storage, miscellanous files. i want to delete it but not sure of what it would do.... any ideas?

Something doesn't sound right. What version are u on, and how do you normally update your recovery?

My name is Soundtrack to Chaos, and I have a fetish for external chargers, big batteries, power outlets and extension cords and surge protectors... I need help

How many apps do you have installed? I haven't used CWM in a while, but I've seen my TWRP backup grow with each backup I do, if I've added more apps.

im constantly getting low storage warnings, so im always deleting apps...probably 40-50(ish) could i delete that file or how would i clean it up

How many nandroid backups have you done? If you have more than a couple that could be why the file is so big. If you have an external sd, move it there to conserve space on the internal.

went into file explorer, in the clockworkmod file and my "blobs" folder is 5.09gb while backup folder is 62.78 mb.... what is the blobs folder'?

I looked at mine and it has the same thing. I think the blobs folder holds all the actual files and information for the backup because when I've moved nandroids from my phone to computer, the files are usually around 2-3 gigs and not just a few mbs like they show in the file explorer. Boot into recovery and see how many backups you have. If you have more than one, you can just transfer it to your computer and that will free up a few gigs. Or if it's an old one and you don't think you'll need it, you can just delete it right from recovery mode. You should probably just transfer it though.
