clockworkmod recovery v3.0.0.8

I tried flashing with ODIN but whenever I load back up the CWM version on the top of screen says 3.0.1.3. When I go down to "All ClockworkMod Recoveries" and select 2.5.1.4 or any other 2.5.x.x version I get the message "An error occurred while downloading your recovery."

Is there something that I did wrong? I download the free version from the market and flashed it with ODIN file found on XDA forum. I am on Froyo SC2.8 if that helps.

Oh, boy. I didn't pay attention the first time. You are running sc 2.8. Do you plan on staying on 2.8 or are you going to go to 2.9? My recommendation would be to go to 2.9, but it is your choice. If you want to stay on 2.8 we need to give you slightly different directions. Just let us know 2.8 or 2.9.

Wooohoooo I am no longer a android virgin! I got tired of messing around and used odin to upgrade to 2.9. MUCH better. The only drawback is I lost all my memos.

I just flashed SC 2.9 today also. Been flashing new SC versions pretty much weekly. My Fascinate has been awesome!! Love the Fascinate community!

No need for concern lol been away for a while and I am running 2.9.1, probably upgrading to 2.9.2 later today.
