how do i delete this? as i want to us sprecovery instead. but when i press X on the reboot it goes to clockworkmod instead.

or how do i choose sprecovery on reboot?

Do you have Rom Manager downloaded? If not, get the latest version from the market. Open the app and scroll down to Flash Alternate Recovery and that should be .99.3b

I'm getting "an error occurred while attempting to run privileged commands!" when I try to flash an alternate recovery. What could that possibly mean? My droid is rooted with 2.1 and I can't get any roms on this thing. Any suggestions?

Ok download Rom manager it will allow you to flash between recovery images their two out for the Droid. Spr 99.3b and clockworkmod depending on the Rom you want. Determines the recovery you flash. It's basically the stock recovery image but they disable signature checks for roms. And allow you to backup or restore to previous roms

If I download ROM manager, do I automatically get clockwork mod or do I have to download it from somewhere else?

you will get it with the app. The way koush set it up is that every time you open up Rom Manager it will check to see if you have clockwork recovery installed and then it will check to see which version you have currently flashed. if there is an updated version available it will make you flash the newer version. it an amazing app that helps to simplify flashing new roms. Plus, seeing as how the creator of Droid Root Pro decided to stop updating it and moved on, this is prob the best option available. Im kind of annoyed with the creator of droid root pro because he gave up on an app that people paid for. at least do something to the app that makes it self reliant

You can also get the DroidMod app, open it, and have it install SPRecovery for you. That way will work as well.

i have to agree with you there. it's a shame that bum just moved on and left everyone who paid for the app behind.
