Open up Android Market and update it from there. You might find the free version is more than sufficient to flash roms and a bunch of other functions.

How do I update ClockworkModRecovery?

I was going to purchase ClockworkModRecovery premium this evening but when I started up the free version already installed on my phone it told me there are updates to CMR. I have version 3.1.0.2 now and the latest version is 4.0.1.5. Being new at this I started having kittens immediately wondering if I should update before buying premium; which was followed by, how the heck do i update?

I apologize if this is addressed somewhere, I did search but didn't answer my question. Admittedly, I may not have been searching with the best possible search string.

Download or update ROM Manager... then click on Flash ClockworkMod Recovery.

And if you ever have any issues with CWM and nandroids then all you need to do is select 'All ClockWorkMod Recoveries' and choose the least recent update... :)

I am having the best results from recovery version 3.0.2.4. but I had serious issues in the past with restoring nandroids and that was the only version that would work for me...

at least buy the App and support the dev,...he does alot of good work, not just ROM manager :)
