I have Verizon cloud that was installed on my phone when it was delivered. I now need to restore some files. How do I do that as I've tried to get the program to do it but I couldn't find a way through the program. Help.

Have you registered yourself on the "The Cloud"?

If you have not, then there won't be anything there to recover from.

Once you get into Cloud, check the settings to be sure what you want is actually being backed up.

IMO, pictures and videos "in the Cloud" is not where they should be, that is expensive..... unless you make double darn sure you make it "backup via WiFi only".

I only keep my Contacts and Messages and documents in the Cloud.

Pictures and videos are transferred to my local PC

Can't open the link. The error message is <Can't open the link >. What is the next step? BTW, thanks for the help.

The forum does that sometimes with links, and I'm not sure why. Go here, select your phone, then select the simulator for Verizon Cloud. verizonwireless.com/support/simulators/

Please excuse any typos or autocorrect derps.

Not sure exactly what you're looking for. If your old device was backedup to the vz cloud, then all you have to do is do a Content Restore located under the Tools item on the menu.

If your old device wasn't backed up, you can try using the content transfer under the Tools item on the menu. Both your old and new devices need to have cloud installed and be on the same wifi network.
