So been running CM10 M1 for a week or so. Email sync to my businesses Exchange worked fine. Good to go.

Changed update from push to every 10 minutes like 3 days ago. Late yesteerday my server crashed (meaning slow, no email in/out, no shared drives, etc)

My IT people ruled this morning my phone was the issue. deleted the exchange account and back up and running. added again and dead in the water all over again.

First question - COULD CM10 M1 be the culprit? Why?

Reflashing to rooted touchwiz (stock) right now to see if it crashes server again...... Any input/thoughts?

I can see that it could be the issue. Even thought M1 is a more stable monthly build, it still has its bugs. If stock rooted works fine then I guess it is CM10.

Yup - guess thats the ultimate test.

I'm not a developer or anything just your average joe rooting his phone. Should I somehow tell someone at CM about this?

You can but honestly they have so many devices they need to worry about and so many bugfixes that have to go into their builds that I wouldn't expect them to get to it right away. That doesn't mean they are bad devs by any means but with the amount of work they have on their plate with CM10 it may take awhile to get fixes like that into newer builds.

Understood

btw stock touchwiz ICS fixed the issue. CM10 must have a bug... darn...

Yea it sucks that there are still a lot of bugs in CM10. If you want to give another solid AOSP ROM a try, look into AOKP B3. I am running it now and seems to be pretty solid.
