CM10-M release for Sprint S3

Probably the only thing I've experienced that I wish worked a little better was Google now voice commands while I'm on data. When I'm on WiFi it works fine. When I'm out and about it takes a while to load up the mic or it never does. Could just be my reception though.

I notice that on stock with voice search... Sucks. The problem I have is that I have good coverage but it's like the phone isn't even trying to use data

Do you guys wipe the davlich and cache everytime you install a new nightly? If I were to install the m1 should I? If so why?

I wipe davlike and cache when ever I flash a rom. I've seen people not do this and it makes their phone just cycle the boot screen where after the boot screen is finished with it starts the reboot process over again and just repeats. If its an update I'll just do davlike and cache wipe. If its going to a different rom I factory reset.

I agree 100%. It's not worth it to not do it. 5 extra minutes and it saves headaches later.

I'm now having issues with the system force closing on me a lot. Sometimes to the point where I have to reboot. There is SOME flickering bit only when looking at the pictures in my gallery.

Hmm that's strange. How are you flashing the rom to your phone? I haven't had any problems anymore with mine. A few in the beginning but they've subsided.

That sucks that your getting so many problems. I've had hardly any issues with this one. My screen started to flicker yesterday so I reset the phone and it worked fine after that. I've read somewhere that if you flash another ROM then go back and flash the one you want, can work some of the kinks out.

I hpoe that you didnt do it in that order.

I flash a bunch and I still screw this up sometimes, it's easy to do. Hopefully that takes care of your problems. I still haven't had time to flash the M1 build yet, but it sounds like from everyone's early reports it's pretty usable as a daily driver. Honestly, stock on this isn't so bad so I haven't felt a whole lot of pressure to switch yet.

You forgot to add wipe dalvik and cache again after flashing gapps and before rebooting. Apparently it's a necessary step to prevent bootloops on Jellybean.

Are you guys camera quality bad with CM10? It just seems like the camera doesnt auto focus and the quality doesnt seem as good.

For me it looks like it. But once I take the picture it looks fine. So as far as auto focus, don't know. Seems like it works for me.

I could see the differance between how my photos looked. The photos taken with my stock gs3 looked noticeably better.
