CM12 or Stock + xposed?

I recently got a Galaxy S4 GT-9506 and installed CM13. Unfortunately, it is not very stable (wifi disconnects when turning screen off, mobile connection lost sometimes, random reboots, CM camera does not focus correctly).

Is CM12 more stable? Would you recommend it or should I go with latest stock + xposed?

You can try 12. It might be more polished than 13. Is 13 still updating on the S4?

No, it seems the maintainer for all CM versions for this device has left long time ago.

Maybe I expected too much when I read that this device is officially supported. Even the CM version of my s3 mini, which was not official at all, ran way better.
