I just found a useful shortcut using CM6 and thought this would be an Interesting Thread...


If you Long press on the up or down rocker for Volume it will skip so the next or previous song...

Very kool and useful...

Anything you guys find useful and awesome?!

Since tethering is native in cm6, I don't need that app and I can turn it on and off with the power control widget. Pretty useful, idk about awesome...

It's not in the 9-08 build, as I just tried it, thankfully without headphones in.

That might be something with the OP's music player instead of CM6

Haha its on CM6 you need to Long Press lol dont kill your ears now

I seen the change song with volume rocket in the github but I couldn't get it too work and all I got out of it was ringing ears.

How does one kill the phones obsession to notify me of an imaginary voicemail?

I do have Sprints visual voicemail ...but I don't think that effects anything.

It works fine for me (CM6 official), but OP left out an important detail: It only works from the lock screen, otherwise you just get deafened

Also, you might need to have lockscreen music controls turned on.
