CM7 and overclocking

Before I decided to take the plunge into CM7, I was running Tesla Coil; I absolutely loved being able to overclock to 1.4Ghz at will. After installing CM7, I noticed that setCpu would only allow the stock 1Ghz clockspeed at max. Is there a kernel I can install safely( that is compatible with the current Thunderbolt build for CM7) to get the same capability? Thanks for any help!

Imoseyon makes an oc'd aosp kernel for cm7 i believe.

When is CM7 going to be out of Pre-Alpha? I've been wanting to try it, but it's been stuck there for awhile now

Dunno but i hope it's soon. there hasn't been an update to the thread at xda in about a week.

Still have it running on my droid incredible but it's deactivated so i hardly ever use it except to mess around with.
