CM7+GingerBread+Swype=Help!

So I am currently running the CM7 Nightlies (which by the way are great!) My only problem with it is with the new 2.3 software when using the keyboard the "double tap" with swype to open up the other word options (for mistakes easy access to other possibilities) no longer works! Because when you tap on the screen now it has the more precise pointer/selector even in Swype...So Basically is there any way I can turn that part off and get my Swype double tap for correction working again?

Hi Matt - I'm doing the nightly's as well, but haven't even been able to get Swype to work since I updated from the stock ROM. What was your trick?

Double tap works fine for me.

I'm using the swype beta though, not the one included with Sense ROMs.
