Cm7 radio?

I've been using the cm7 1.2 rom for a while and my only major issue has been the radio. It doesn't seem to go past the one bar hardly at all now is this a common issue with this rom? Is there a fix? Really like this rom a lot because of the amazing battery life. I am using the official ota mr2

There is a lot out there about this and a lot of conflicting info. but the general census is other than cosmetically, it doesn't mean anything and it is because it's an ASOP rom. If you have at least 1 bar you are good. If I come back across some stuff I will post it here, but no time now.

AOSP. The bar number means nothing.

HTC and a lot of others inflate your signal bar to make you feel better. if yoilire really worried check your actual dB signal level.

Don't worry about it, you're fine. It's all cosmetic.

I'm sure CM7 will fix there meter on the next release... LTB just had a new release (v2.4 on 7/22/2011) and now I have 4 out of 4 bars, even though I had 1 bar with the previous version... I think CM7 and LTB have some of the same programmers doing both ROMs.

Off the top of my head i think I was reading that something in the 70s was good, so based on that, yes. Take that with a grain of salt, because, i really don't know. Your are you checking it?

This rom has amazing battery but there are a lot of connectivity issues which is why I was wondering if there was a fix or better radio. Thanks for everyone's help
