Cm7 RC 1.2 Facebook not fully syncing with contacts

As the title states I am running cm7 RC 1.2 and for some reason my contacts aren't being synchronized with Facebook fully. I have some contacts that if you look at their contact card that have Facebook profiles associated with them and others do not. Even those that do show as synchronized are not downloading photos. Any suggestions?

Have you tried to delete your account setup on your phone and re-add it?

I wanted to report back that sync is still not working. I reinstalled CM7 from scratch, wiping cache 3x etc. Once GAPS was installed and my phone sync'd with my gmail account I went ahead and installed the facebook app (1.61) and selected to sync with contacts already on my phone. It's been about 2 hours and no luck. Not a single contact appears to have sync'd.

I figured out what is going on. Using the the stock rom, the phone would suggest contacts that are close, but running CM7 (and I assume this to be the case with other AOSP roms) that the contact names have to be exact. I've discovered this by selecting sync all contacts option. I wonder if there is anything to be done with that, or if I will just have to go and make sure all the names match up manually?

You can manually join contacts with facbook contacts when you edit the contacts. I have a few i have to do that with. Annoying but at least they aren't guessing and associating the wrong contacts in my phone with those on facebook.
