Does anyone know if there has been any recent work on the CM7 project for the Fascincate?
Last I heard, most was working except the camera and I use the camera a lot.

AFAIK you're up to speed, and the devs are still hoping for a true gingerbread leak.

Actually, JT started a new build based on the .35 kernel (which is GB as opposed to the .32 kernel we have now) and everything is working with the exception of the radio. It's been in that status for the last couple of weeks, but he is getting close to a fully functional build

Oh don't you worry, I've been having fun! We've been holed up in the room today because of the storm that's floating around down here... Hopefully tomorrow is a better day!

Will cm7 be voodoo?

From my understanding CM7 is pure AOSP google which has no need for voodoo/nonvoodoo, it's just raw google code. And straight from jt1134's CM7 thread:

** changed to new kernel that can be used with BOTH rfs AND ext4 - but it does not include the Voodoo lagfix code, so no conversions! **

Don't worry about disabling lagfix or any of that nonsense, ROM will work whether you are using ext4 or rfs

So no need to worry if you are voodoo or nonvoodoo beforehand, CM7 works with both file systems.

Do you have a link to his thread/DL?

Do you have a link to his thread/DL?

Volume up button is now apparently working. His thread is here:

[ROM] CyanogenMod 7.0.3 ALPHA3 - 5/11/11 - xda-developers

But the chatter, speculation, and updates about the release have been moved to here

CM7 Waiting Room/Discussion Thread - xda-developers

Jt asked that everyone refrain from posting all that stuff in his thread as he checks it to see if anyone is reporting bugs with logcats so he can figure out how to fix things.

EDIT - also adding that MMS is not working. SMS is working but not MMS. But it's closer to working than it was on previous builds.

are there nightly build yet on this like for the other versions or do we just check back to the link you provided for updates? Either way this rocks and I appreciate your help with this.

I cannot post on XDA in the Dev forums so maybe someone here can answer this for me. Is there an ETA as to when the In Call Audio will work?
