CMR Backup vs Titanium Backup

What's the difference between a CWR (Nandroid) backup and a TiBu backup? Seems I'm doing both (Nandroid before I flash a different Tpax / ROM), and TiBu fairly regularly as I use that to restore data for Angry Birds, Maildroid, etc.

Am I duplicating efforts? I know one advantage of TiBu is you can set a regularly scheduled backup...

I have TiBu set to backup my apps/data like every other day, so if anything comes up I know I have recently data saved. Nandroids I hardly make anymore.. Like I did before I went from shifter to purity rom but before that it was a long time. I think the more comfortable you get with flashing and setting stuff up again the less you should need to worry about nandroid backups. But if you like making them so you have that big safety net there's nothing wrong with it obv.

Download the main TiBu app. The Pro portion you purchase is just a certificate type thing that, when present on your phone, unlocks the full features on the app.
