Coby Kyros 7" Tablet

Just bought the Coby Kyros Tablet at Kmart for $139. Haven't messed with it to much yet. Wondering if anyone else has one and what there thoughts are on it?

I bought that Colby myself and at first I was thinking
About thaking it back back but after
Messing with it for a while I'm really liking it
Especially for the price . My wife can't pit it
Down so we gotta buy another lol.

Directly to it. Like pandora , kindle , an hundreds
Others and it's pretty easy to now my . Home
Screen is custom I've put google maps
On it . I also put some mp4 files and
Music on it. ! Anyway I wish it had better
Battery life but it isn't all that bad
Hope u end up liking yours I just can't afford
An iPad but this does more then enough for me

It's fairly easy I got The instructions from
Another forum Is there any rules against
Putting thier adress on here?
Anyway it's pretty easy all I had to do was
Put es file explorer on it and from there I just added
The markets and apps to my micro sd card and used es explorer
To install them on my tablet it's pretty straight forward the forum
Has all the files that you need to download
U will also need a micro sd. To sd. Card adaptor
Cause for some reason I couldn't transfer the
Files when I hooked The tablet to the computer directly

yea the person who is going to use the device is not tech savy. Basically i was thinking that you put the original android market app on the device which would solve all the problems. do you know if this was possible

that is the forum although the instructions on how to do it are probably on there
somewhere on there i was never able to find them. but i figured it out .


first i installed this on my computer



next download droid explorer from this page on the bottom where it says source click on that to download it and then install it

next i downloaded these files

the only one i used was the es file manager since my appslib had no issues

after that i removed my micro sd and put it in an micro Sd to Sd adapter .
I then put the card into my computers reader and copied the
es file manager to the sd card .

then put your micro sd card into your coby kyros and connect that to your computer when you do the droid explorer should pop up when it does scroll down your folders until you see

sd card folder click on it and it should show you its contents once you do
right click on the es explorer that you put on the card and click install

you can then unplug the coby from your computer . once you do check to see that the es explorer is in your apps if it is now you have a file manager and can install apps from other places as well as install other markets

About the real android market im not sure if it is possible to have that on it yet but here are some alternatives that also work on our tablet

go to this adress

Market | Tools | Apps | Games | Wallpaper
and each post that is under apk share is a market just log into there with ur tablet and click on the picture that will download that app market for you

Even easier. I just started playing with it a little while ago and all i did was back up apps off of my Evo, then load the apk's on to sd card. Put sd card back into tablet. Download file manager from appslib market. Then navigate to apk's via file manager and install.

Well purchased the Coby Kyros MID7005 at Toys R US. I really like the device, it has everything I want in an Android Tablet to include a full size USB Host port. However, the battery life is just attrocious.

Opened up the unit to verify the battery information and to my surprise - found a pair of tiny 3.7V 1280mAh connected in series. So long story short, the unit is severely underpowered with a 1280mAh battery and not the 3600mAh posted on the Coby website.

Such a shame - I really liked the unit. I'll have to return it because of the poor battery life.

I am very interested in purchasing one! So, it is under powered? Is there a way to replace the battery?
The one I am looking at is: Coby MID7015 Kyros.

Basically, I have an iPad and an Android phone, so I am set. But my friend Robin, in England, he LOVES both, and is always playing on them when he visits. He has neither and no plans to get one because he is moving here soon (we hope) and he does not want to spent the money on something he'd have no ability to use here. SO, I want to get him a tablet. I purchased the Wonder Media WM8650 for $159 from a local vendor... and it... sucks. So I am returning it today. My friends birthday is in 1 month, so I have about 1 week to get a replacement and get it mailed for it to arrive on time, for sure.

Budget is $160. All help appreciated! We are FINE with rooting it, in fact he'd prefer to root it.

i have android tab model m-002 , after loading angry birds ,got corrupt..it wont turn on..
"it only BLUE LEAD light on the botton.......
