Color balance changing within certain apps

[Android Central Question]

I have a Huawei p30 phone. Normally the display is wonderful. However, with a few apps, it suddenly ups the contrast and lowers the saturation automatically, probably in an effort to make the display better with graphically demanding apps. However, it does this with apps where I really need the correct colors to show, so this adjustment is extremely frustrating. There are no color corrective options in the settings that I have been able to find, and color calibrating apps have similarly failed to resolve the issue. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
