I've only used the camera a bit, but tonight I played with 720p video recording and camera color controls. I later noticed that color depth has suffered in specific parts of the UI.
For example, colors in most of the vendor wallpapers are stepped and dithered. So I switched to the b/w moon graphic. When playing a video with the Gallery, image quality suffers whenever the seek bar is displayed. Some downloaded color pictures have stepping while others are fine, must be something to do with a decoder library...?
My initial impulse would be to force-stop a few tasks and clear their data/cache.
