I have a captivate. I use launcher pro. I don't use the live wallpapers. It will do this randomely. To fix it I have to dial a number and call it. Then it force closes the phone app and then the signal strenght and 3g coverage icons in the status bar go away for 2 seconds and come back. Then it works. I don't live in spotty coverage area. I really wouldn't mind this if it only happend when i was using the messaging app, but it is also not working when i just have it in my pocket sometimes. If I ever get a text message and this problem is happening I won't know i got it. I would only know i got it when i realized the app wasn't working.
