com.android.phone has stopped

Ever since I was forced to update to 5.0.1 (thanks Verizon) I keep getting "com.android.phone has stopped" which severs my connection with my Bluetooth in my car. The Bluetooth logo goes away on the phone and I have to re-set it. But I still get texts and calls on the phone just not through my car. This happens about every 2nd day. I had zero issues before the update to 5.0.1. I have done a factory reset and that did not help one bit. Anyone else have an idea that I can try?

Seems there was an article that linked this to Facebook and syncing contacts. But I don't recall if that was the phone process or contacts process.... I know there are many articles around with Samsung s5 and the same issue

I can say it is not the Facebook apps. I uninstalled all apps associated with FB and it still does it. Im at my wits end.
