Com.android.phone has stopped

After flashing reborn rom my phone worked for couple of hours then all of a sudden i cannot make phone calls and i get message "the process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly" and now i cannot make or recieve any calls. All my othe functions of phone work fine i even recieve emails and text with no prob....anybody have similar problem?...or can anybody offer a solution. Thanks in advance

Before you flashed this ROM what were u on ? Maybe do a clean Flash, wiping everything and starting again... IDK any reason other than a bad flash. Possibly a flash from CM7 directly to Reborn ROM, but I dont know the answer.. this is just a thought.

Did a clean wipe....reflashed reborn and everything seems to be ok now. It seems when i restore certain apps or setting from backup reborn doesnt like something in there. Well i will post back if i run across the specific reason when and if i run into it again. Thanks for the reply.

Wow.. this is timely. My husband is having the exact same issue on his phone today that I flashed last night. I have been running Reborn on mine for a month with no issues.

I wasn't as selective about the apps and data I restored (via titanium backup) after the flash this time as I was when I installed mine.

I think your theory about something in the backup restore might be right on. I am going to re flash his tonight to hopefully get it working again.

Is there any data/apps that I should absolutely not restore after the flash?

Have not figured out exactly what app or setting caused the crash.....i reflashed reborn and manually restored my apps via titanium.....imo if your husbands phone is acting the same just reflash and do not add any apps fom old backup that you can get from market...download fresh ones if possible....might save you fom having future crashes.....good luck

I did clean flash...and selectively added back apps and data from titanium backup. Seems to be working now.

This may be a completely different issue, but when I try to move user apps to the SD card from Titanium backup I get about 5 in and then it hangs, and forces an automatic reboot.

I tried multiple times, skipping the app it got hung up, only to have it do the same thing on the next app. I don't see any pattern to what is triggering it.

Frustrating that I have had zero issues and only huge gains on my Optimus since I rooted and flashed...and so far only problems with my husbands (who didn't want me to "mess" with his phone to begin with)

Not sure about the app install either...i have gotten hung up only once since reborn while moving a app over from titanim....and as far as the difference with two phones behaving totally differently towards the new rom....all u get is "i told u so!!"....( from hubby ..lol)
