I bought my SM-N900T from America although I live in the UK, I bought it mainly because of cost and I assumed it'll work as it is a GSM phone and in fairness it does !
My worry is, this process keeps keep my device awake, I've done many battery optimizations including screen settings, app uninstallations and so forth but this process is keeping my phone awake so can I remove it ?! Although its t mobile, I'm on the 3 carrier in the UK. I'm also a rooted user who has both stock ROM/ Kernel.
Thank You

Freeze it. If that causes problems, unfreeze it. If it works with the app frozen for a week or two, uninstall it.

Removing carrierIQ shouldn't cause any problem at all, it's just that I never uninstall an app without running with it frozen for a while, just in case some other bloat app that you want to run depends on a process in the frozen one. CarrierIQ is an old irritant - back to Gingerbread or even Eclair days, and their are apps to see if your phone has it. There's also an app to remove it - https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...tails?id=com.rdmsoft.killiqmsd&token=_ilgEG9-
