Hello,

Q1. I might want to buy a used SM-P615 S6 lite tablet, my understanding is SM-P615 is released in 2020, and I think the android and security updates stopped/ended, is it ok to use it?

Q2. After android and security updates stopped/ended, can the apps installed still continue to have app updates?

Q3. After android and security updates stopped/ended, am I safe to use the apps as long as the apps can be updated?

Q4. What does United Arab Emirates mean? see screenshot

That device should actually still get security updates for one more year: https://us.community.samsung.com/t5...20-version-of-Galaxy-Tab-S6-lite/td-p/3027853

I think it's generally safe to continue using a device after its end of support life for another 1-2 years, but I would be cautious about using it for anything really sensitive, like financial transactions, after that period. Apps will continue to get updated, both through the Play Store and Samsung's Galaxy Store.

The UAE designation means the device was intended for that market (and it's an indication that the device is LTE-enabled). The firmware therefore may be more specific to that region, and it's possible that certain apps won't be available or compatible.

How do you see "it's an indication that the device is LTE-enabled"?
