I use watchdog to monitor apps that go above a CPU threshold to save battery. Lately com.htc.bg has been getting over 30% a lot lately. Can anyone tell me what this is and what I need to do to fix it? I have the incredible running stock 2.2 and the newest vzw update

Neither. com.htc.bg is the sync connector. It climbs while syncing FB, or Peep, or Mail, etc. Sync a bunch of stuff at the same time, and it uses more CPU time.
