When I start or restart my phone this error pops up

"Unfortunately, the process com.HTC.bgp has stopped. "

So far I haven't found anything that doesn't work, so what exactly does this process do and how do I fix this?

Maybe factory reset? I'm rooted so it wouldn't be that difficult to fix.

Marty is this the error message you are talking about? The same thing happens to me every time I restart my phone. As you can see I started a thread about this about 2-weeks ago but so far none of the suggestions have fixed the problem. It doesn't cause any issues with the phone but I would prefer if I didn't have to look at it every time I restarted my phone. Anyway if you come across a fix that works please let me know about it...thanks :)

I have this same error occurring everytime I start or restart my HTC One. I've not rooted it nor anything else so not sure why it started doing this. It's irritating but can't find anything actually not working.

Actually, this error is only happening when I choose to "restart" my HTC One. It is not happening when I turn-off my phone and then start it from scratch. I'm not sure if it ever did report that error from a cold start.

I did remove the HTC Sense account and removed Facebook, then restarted and then saw there was a still a Facebook account on my phone so I removed that and tried restarting and when I restart I see that error message but if I turn off the phone and just start it from being off I do not see the error message. What could be different, I don't know.
