Does anybody know why I have suddenly started receiving the message that my com.sec.android.app.FlashBarService has stopped? I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8, GT-N5100. It is usually shown when I try to use the side bar for the multiwindow. Recently I did a factory reset for the multiwindow bar to re-appear. I appreciate any help! Thank you!:-[

I'm having the same issue on my Note 8.0 every time I rotate my screen. I was reading some forums that said I need to clear my cache for flash bar in the application manager but it isn't there. If you find an answer, please let me know!

I'm not sure if I have fixed the problem but here is how it goes: I read in some forum that by turning my tablet off and on, or by restarting, the cache is deleted. I realized that I actually never turn it off so I did a restart. When I turned it on again I saw a message that I had successfully cleaned a large amount of cache (I don't remember the number, over 450) - that was from Clean Master, an app I use and find very useful. Since then I haven't received the "com.sec.android.app.FlashBarService stopped" message again for about one day! See if it works for you - I'm still on guard, but we'll see...

Any suggestions anybody else???

I also have received same message. I restarted after cache clean...hopefully this worked....will try to remember to let ya'll know....have had a Brain Aneurysm so remembering things is hard. Let's say if I don't come back...IT IS FIXED....GOD BLESS HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY ...!!!!!

Welcome to Android Central! Did you already try what was discussed previously in this thread?
