Let's just say its better than the old stock launcher...

I personally don't like the new app drawer, the icons are too big. I also miss the link to the play store at the top right. But looking forward to having transparency when I get kitkat.

Oh and I love that you can choose your number of home screens! Seems like such a basic option though.

I currently use Apex as my launcher. I tried a ROM that had the Google Launcher but wasn't a fan.

I just got the update yesterday and I have the same launcher. Its a bar that goes across the entire screen. Isnt it supposed to be like 3 dots? Am I missing something?

You need to install the Google experience launcher to get what you are expecting. Really easy. There's another thread with a link to it here.

I found the less widgets and flashy icons I have on the home screen, the better the battery life. So my home screen is rather stock, but I got great battery life.

Dashclock, circle battery widget, folder organizer, glasklart icon pack
