Coming from a RAZR Maxx HD

The most important thing to me is battery. I tend to use my phone a good amount and love that the maxx can last all day with a good amount of usage.

Can anyone who come fram a Razr Maxx HD to an S4 speak to the battery of the S4 and how it compares to the Maxx HD? I would be looking at keeping the battery stock so as to not change the size of the phone.

I had the Maxx. This battery drains much faster, but then again we are going from a 3300 to 2600 battery, so it should not be expected to last as long.

Thanks. Definitely understand it won't last as long just trying to get a sense for what the difference is. How much time were you able to get out of your maxx on a single charge and how does that compare to what you're getting on the s4 now?

I have to disagree. I too came from a maxx hd. I do the same things I use to on my Maxx as I now do on my S4 during work. Which is listening to SiriusXM for 4-5 hours. Checking Facebook twitter instagram etc and light internet usage. And I have to say at the end of the day my battery is around 45-50% which is right around where my Maxc use to be.

Now im not sure if ATT and Verizon somehow use less batyery on 4G then one another (maxx was verizon S4 is att) but thats my experience. I do carry a spare stock battery for my S4 just incasem but ive yet to have needed it.

I came from a MAXX. Battery is much worse with the S4 until I changed batteries. Now with my 5200mah battery I can go 2 days without a charge. The curved back fits my hand better as well.
