Coming from Blackberry need help...

Guys, I have had my DINC now for about 3 months and loving it but I came from the BB Tour and I'm missing the ability to set the times to have the phone turn on and shut off. Specifically, I don't want to leave my phone on all night just so the alarm can wake me up in the morning. Is there an app or a setting that would allow me to do this?

Android will go into hibernate mode after a short period of non-use. I put my phone in airplane mode at night, which means it doesn't waste juice looking for any data connections and the battery basically charge should not change.* The alarm goes off and I take it out of airplane mode. Works for me.

* Full disclosure: I am rooted and installed SetCPU. I have it set so that the max CPU is 500mhz when the screen is turned off. This probably doesn't make a difference when the plane is in airplane mode and just sitting there overnight. I don't expect a stock phone to use much battery at all in the same situation. I thought I'd throw out that caveat.
