Hey all, I'm currently using a samsung captivate, but my droid x is shipping overnight so i should have it tommorow! i'm looking forward to learning this new device and get the most out of it. quick question, on the captivate, using the gmail app, i only get one notification for email. so for example i get 4 emails in a 2 minute period, only the first will trigger the notification. the other 3 will be there, but i wont get a notification sound. this becomes an issue being as the captivate doesnt have an led light. so if i happen to miss that first notification, unless i check my phone, there isnt a way for me to know i have waiting emails. does the droid x do this as well? or does it notify for every email that comes in regardless? this is the behavior that i'm hoping for. the led notification will help this, but i'd like to receive multiple notifications. thanks

Don't you have a setting in Gmail at the very bottom labeled "Notify Once"? if you uncheck it, it should notify you for every new message, not just the first one.

I understand the gripe about not having the LED light. I don't undertand why they would leave that out of the design.

It notifies by sound only once but notification light keeps blinking to remind you.
