That's the widget, right? I like to keep all my apps sorted nicely on one, maybe two screens, and a large widget like that really works against that, so I don't use it.

Yes that's the widget. I agree. It provides little value for how much real estate it takes

Granted, I've only had the phone and been on Android for two weeks, but I like the command center. Right now its telling me it will rain in 4 minutes. Maybe down the road I'll experiment with others but I'm happy with it now.

I was using it but switched to Nexus launcher which has its own "widgets".

I disabled that. Takes up too much space for my taste.

I am using it to keep track of my battery mod's battery life.

I got rid of it just because I didn't like that it was round. Instead I use a big *** Beautiful Widget.

I started using it when I got the phone and it seems fine. I did end up downloading Nova Launcher because I wanted to change the grid to 5 across.

I ended up disabling command center as it runs even when not on the homescreen.
